Most Gracious God,
We ask your blessing on all those to whom You have entrusted motherhood. May Your Holy Spirit constantly inspire and strengthen them. May they ever follow the example of Mary, mother of Our Lord, and imitate her fidelity, her humility, and her self-giving love. May all mothers receive Your Grace abundantly in this earthly life, and may they look forward to eternal joy in Your presence in the life to come. AMEN.

An Easter Blessing To All Our Members.
Easter is rebirth, change, expectation, and joy. Jesus changed the world by His Sorrowful Passion, Death, and Glorious Resurrection. He conquered death. Through Him, we have Eternal Life. Did we experience conversion this Lenten & Easter season? Did we change from Selfishness to Selflessness? Illness and life’s struggles sometimes moves our focus from Jesus and others to self. Jesus came to serve others. He healed the sick, raised Lazarus from the dead, washed the feet of his disciples, and countless other miracles. St. Paul tells us in Scripture that our behavior and attitude should be Christ-like at all times. When we meet others do they meet Jesus in us? Let us use our life issues as stepping stones not road blocks. May 31st is Pentecost Sunday. Invite the Holy Spirit to dwell in us. To make our relationship with God stronger. To shine through us and help us in our quest for holiness. To serve others as Our Lord Jesus Christ commanded. To participate fully in our ministry and your local parish. Come, Holy Spirit, come, and from your celestial home shed a ray of light divine. Come, Father of the poor, Come, source of all our store. Come, within our bosoms shine. You, of comforters best; You the soul's most welcome guest. Sweet refreshment here below. In our labor, rest most sweet; Grateful coolness in the heat; Solace in the midst of woe. O most Blessed Light Divine, shine within these hearts of thine, and our inmost being fill. Where you are not, man has naught. Nothing good in deed or thought Nothing free from taint of ill. Ministry Announcements:
Florida Banawa has agreed to serve as Historian. Kathy Boughton has agreed to serve as Parliamentarian. Congratulations to Sandra Cancino in becoming a neophyte. She completed her RCIA and received Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, & Eucharist this Easter Vigil. Keep them in prayer as they answer “YES” to God.
We initiated a new tradition. Our VM Prayer Petition Candle will be lit at start of meeting followed by Silent Prayer. The candle will be carried to the Grotto by 2 members after our meeting. Please come & take part of this new tradition. Blessings to Hope Infante & Mirella Kennedy for carrying candle.
As part of our OUTREACH PROGRAM, we will hold a Food Drive in June and in November. Please bring your canned goods and/or non-perishable items on June 20. Thank You in advance in providing for the poor & needy. “And the king will say to them in reply, 'Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.'” Matthew 25:40 NAB
VM San Antonio Chapter Day of Prayer: In honor of Victorious Missionaries 45TH Anniversary Celebration in Belleville, IL on May 02, we will unite ourselves in Prayer for all members worldwide. Please devote 30 minutes of prayer to show solidarity with our Special Brothers & Sisters. We are ALL One Family.
May 16 – Day of Renewal Retreat
Please come and renew your relationship with God at our Annual Retreat. Please join our out-going Spiritual Moderator, Fr. Gerry Weber OMI, and our in-coming Spiritual Director, Fr. Leo Perez OMI, Steve Trevino and others as we journey together in Faith, Hope, and Love. This is a very Special Event held during the 50 Days of Easter. A schedule of events will be provided at the door. Spend the day with Jesus and experience His Mercy and Love. The Holy Spirit will Bless you. There is NO CHARGE for this Event. Please bring your lunch for the day or you may eat out. Ministry will provide water and drinks. Retreat starts at 9AM and runs till about 4PM. There will be breaks. Use this time for private meditation and reflection. Visit the beautiful Grotto or light a candle to Our Lady of Lourdes / Guadalupe. Candles available at Gift Shop. You can also visit the Blessed Sacrament Chapel. Sacrament of Reconciliation and Eucharistic Mass will be offered near closing of Retreat. Don’t miss this opportunity for abundant graces. Jesus is knocking, but we are the only ones with access to door handle.
